For a next level party drink, add a splash of spiced rum, brandy, or bourbon just before serving!
 
Ingredients

2 tablespoons mulling spices
1 (750 ml) bottle dry white wine
4 cups apple cider
1/3 cup honey
1 orange, sliced
2 apples, sliced
Rum, brandy or bourbon (optional)

Directions

  1. Put Mulling Spices in loose tea bag or fine mesh cooking bag.
  2. In a heavy-bottom saucepan or slow cooker, add mulling spices, wine, cider, and honey. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours. Remove the bagged mulling spices and discard them.
  3. Before serving, stir in the orange and apple slices. Let it simmer on low for 20 minutes to a few hours.
  4. If desired, add a splash of spiced rum, brandy, or bourbon just before serving.
