This Chinese five spice fried rice is a delicious one pot meal option for easy weeknight dinners or lunches. Packed with veggies and in an instant pot, this fried rice recipe is ready in under 20 minutes. 

Ingredients

2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided
3 eggs, whisked
2 carrots, diced
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup peas
4 cups cold, cooked brown rice
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
Green onions, to garnish
2 tsp RawSpiceBar's Chinese Five Spice 

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a wok or large saute pan over medium heat. Add the onion, spices, peas, garlic, and carrots and cook, stirring, 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well to coat.
  2. Cook, stirring, 5 minutes, until rice is fragrant and veggies are tender. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
