Not being a lover of Rubs, this product was returned. I'm sure "rub" lovers would find it of acceptable quality.
I rubbed the pork but with the Memphis BBQ before I smoked it and added some when I finished it and it was amazing.
I smothered pork ribs with the Memphis rub before cooking them in our Instant Pot. They were perfect -- smoky, and not too sweet.
