These ground cloves are organically sourced from Indonesia, the largest clove producer in the world - providing 80% of the worlds cloves. They are tricky to harvest and must be handled manually- the buds of clove trees turn pink just before they blossom. High quality cloves have high concentrations of oil. Typically used in baking spices in the US, cloves are popular in North Africa in rice and meat dishes and pair well in bbq sauces and roasted vegetables too.

I purchased this product to make dry spice mixes for all my friends and families for the holidays as presents. This worked great and provided enough to make all the presents I was making. Dips taste great! I would recommend this spice from rawspicebar to others!

This spice arrived fresh and sealed. The only tiny thing I didn't like (nitpicking here) is that the vendor put a huge white sticker over the name of the spice, with the item number on it. (No, it doesn't come off easily, I tried and it tore the original label).

I searched our local markets for Apple Pie Spice to make my Apple Crisp and Deep Dish Apple Pies from the September apple crop. Could not find this spice anywhere! That's when I decided to order it online. This spice really perks up the flavor without buying the spices called for in the recipe separately. Thank you, my order arrived just before baking day! RawSpiceBar rocks!

These seemed fresh and crunchy. I used these on some cemita rolls and they were yummy. Not as costly as at the supermarket and I have gotten some really rancid ones from the bulk bin at an "organic healthy foods" store.

These are fantastic. Sprinkle them on so many things. I sometimes buy a bunch of fresh chives and dice and dry them myself, but this is so much easier.
