8 Great Chicken Seasonings For Breasts

Chicken can get boring. From tandoori masala to Greek chicken, we've rounded up 8 easy, delicious chicken seasoning and chicken rub ideas for weeknight baked chicken breasts.

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded to even thickness
1 tbsp melted butter or olive oil

1. Brine Chicken

Fill a large bowl with warm water and add about 4 tbsp salt, let dissolve.  Add chicken and allow to brine for at least 15 minutes, or up to 6 hours. Remove chicken from brine, rinse with cold water and pat dry.

2. Brush Chicken

Brush chicken breasts liberally on either side with butter or oil. Place chicken in a large baking dish or roasting pan.

3. Rub on Chicken Seasoning

Playing with different types of chicken seasoning is where it gets fun. You can keep it simple with just salt and pepper but chicken really picks up the flavor of whichever seasonings you add. Add salt to your spice blend before rubbing onto chicken.

Try any of these salt free spices on chicken breasts (see serving ideas below):

Greek Seasoning
Tandoori Masala - or see Tandoori Chicken recipe
