Umami Turkey Burger

Inspired by NYT Cooking Turkey Burger


These lean, healthy turkey burgers are moistened with ketchup and Worcertershire, plus spiced up with a bit of grated onion and our shiitake burger seasoning. Top with kethcup, spicy mustard or mayonnaise for a moist, yummy burger and healthy midweek dinner.  


1/2 onion, grated
1 pound lean ground turkey
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoon ketchup
Kosher salt, to taste
Canola oil
2 tsp RawSpiceBar's Umami Seasoning Dust


1. In a bowl, add ground turkey, Worcestershire sauce, spices, salt and onion. Using a fork, mix together well. Shape into four patties and press into 1/2 inch thick rounds.
2. In a nonstick pan or griddle, heat canola oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, cook patties, 5 minutes per side. Serve on buns, with toppings of choice and enjoy!
