Blackened Seasoning Salmon

Ingredients

RawSpiceBar's Blackened Seasoning
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, melted
6 salmon fillets, or other firm-fleshed fish, each 8 to 10 ounces and about 1/2 inch thick
Salt, to taste

 

Directions

  1. Place a large cast-iron skillet over high heat until very hot, about 10 minutes.
  2. Melt butter into small bowl. Dip each fillet in butter so that both sides are well coated. Sprinkle RawSpiceBar's Blackened Seasoning and salt liberally on both sides of fish.
  3. Once skillet is hot, add fillets and top each with 1 teaspoon of melted butter. Cook, uncovered, until charred, about 2-3 minutes. Flip over and cook until done.
  4. Serve on a bed of corn and tomatoes or alone. Enjoy!
