RawSpiceBar's Blackened Seasoning
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, melted
6 salmon fillets, or other firm-fleshed fish, each 8 to 10 ounces and about 1/2 inch thick
Salt, to taste
- Place a large cast-iron skillet over high heat until very hot, about 10 minutes.
- Melt butter into small bowl. Dip each fillet in butter so that both sides are well coated. Sprinkle RawSpiceBar's Blackened Seasoning and salt liberally on both sides of fish.
- Once skillet is hot, add fillets and top each with 1 teaspoon of melted butter. Cook, uncovered, until charred, about 2-3 minutes. Flip over and cook until done.
- Serve on a bed of corn and tomatoes or alone. Enjoy!
