Moong Dal

Easy, healthy moong dal (Indian lentil stew) with spices, garlic and tadka - ready in under 30 minutes. Enjoy with rice or naan!

Ingredients

1 cup moong dal
3 cups water
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp RawSpiceBar's Madras Curry Powder or turmeric powder
1 tsp RawSpiceBar's yellow mustard seeds 
2-3 dried whole red chilies
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 lemon, juice
Kosher salt, to taste

Directions

1. Add dal, water, Madras Curry Powder and salt to a pressure cooker. Cover and let whistle on high. 
3. Add spices to dal with lemon juice. garnish with coriander and serve with rice or naan. Enjoy!
