Matar Paneer Recipe
Creamy, flavor packed matar paneer is ready in under 30 minutes and can be adjusted for taste, diet or for whatever you have in your refrigerator. Make it creamy or chunky or sub tofu in place of paneer for a vegan option. Play around and enjoy this easy dish, packed with Indian spices.
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 fresh red chili, minced
10 oz paneer
1. In a large skillet, add oil over medium-high heat. Add onions, salt and pepper and cook, 5-6 minutes, until translucent. Add garlic, chiles, ginger and spices and cook until fragrant, 3-4 minutes. Add tomatoes and cover and cook, 5-7 minutes until tomatoes begin to brown.
2. Whisk yogurt in a bowl, and add the onion tomato mixture in batches to bowl.
