Laksa Paste, Malaysian

Malaysian curry powder, ginger, garlic, shrimp paste & a few other ingredients are all you need to make a thick laksa paste in under 10 minutes.

1 onion, diced
2 lemongrass stalks, minced
2 inches ginger, minced
5 cashews
3 garlic cloves, chopped
2 teaspoons shrimp paste (optional)
1 tablespoon peanut oil


Add Malaysian Curry Powder, onion, lemongrass, galangal, nuts, garlic, shrimp paste to a food processor. Process until finely chopped. Add oil. Process until a smooth paste forms. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
