Healthy Banana Bread - Spiced Up 6 Ways

1/3 cup coconut oil or olive oil 
1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
2 eggs
3 mashed, very ripe bananas
1/4 cup almond milk or regular milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Kosher salt, to taste
1 3/4 cups white or regular whole wheat flour
Mix ins: walnuts, pecans, chocolate chips, banana slices, raisins


1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine oil and honey with a whisk. Add eggs and beat well, then add bananas and milk. 
3. Add baking soda, vanilla, salt and spices and blend. With a spoon, stir in flour until just combined. Add mix ins, if desired.
4. Pour batter into greased pan and bake, 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool, then slice and serve!
