Garam Masala Pumpkin Tart


RawSpiceBar’s Punjabi Garam Masala Spices
2 lemons, zest and juice
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon sea salt
4 eggs
1 15 oz can pumpkin puree
1 cup half and half
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 inch fresh ginger, minced
Whipped cream, for serving
1 tart crust



  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat eggs in a large bowl. Add sea salt, eggs, pumpkin puree, half and half, maple syrup, ginger, lemon juice, zest and RawSpiceBar’s Punjabi Garam Masala Spices. Whisk until thoroughly blended
  3. Place tart crust on a baking sheet. Pour in filling. Bake 40 to 50 minutes until almost set — it will jiggle just a little in the center. Allow to cool at least 30 minutes before removing the outside of the pan. Serve at room temperature, with whipped cream or frozen yogurt if desired.
