Chermoula (Moroccan Herb Sauce)
Chermoula is a herby, tangy, lemony Moroccan fresh herb sauce, packed with garlic, spices and salt. Serve over grilled fish, chicken, roasted vegetables or stir into rice or cous cous and enjoy!
2 tsp RawSpiceBar's roasted ground cumin
1 tsp RawSpiceBar's Hungarian paprika, sweet
1 tsp RawSpiceBar's roasted ground coriander
1/2 tsp RawSpiceBar's cayenne powder
2 bunches cilantro, chopped
1 bunch parsley, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
Kosher salt and pepper, to taste
1/3 cup olive oil
1 lemon, juice
1. Combine garlic and salt in mortar and grind together. Add chopped herbs until mashed. Then add spices, olive oil and lemon juice. Season to taste.
2. Serve with grilled fish, vegetables or on toast and enjoy!
