1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp RawSpiceBar's Cardamom Summer
Pinch sea salt
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 egg, slightly beaten
½ cup coconut milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Toasted coconut, banana, syrup, to top, optional
- In a mixing bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, RawSpiceBar's Cardamom Summer spices and salt. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add in the mashed banana, egg, vanilla, and milk. Whisk wet ingredients and fold the dry ingredients until combined.
- Melt enough coconut oil to coat a medium saucepan over medium heat. Scoop heap of batter in and cook, 2-3 minutes or until the top is bubbly. Flip, cooking for another 2-3 minutes and repeat with remaining.
- Serve warm and top as desired!
