The Provence Spice Kits

In Provence, summer fields are filled with lavender, unfolding along the coast. It is no wonder, then, that dried lavender made it’s way into traditional Provencal dishes and blends, including Herbes de Provence, a blend we’ve included in this month’s box. This mix of dried lavender, thyme, savory, marjoram, rosemary and other dried herbs, typically gathered along the Provence countryside, are now globally known. We use this blend to cook an easy, summer inspired, grilled garlic bread, but we also love this blend on grilled vegetables or in a light summer pasta dish.
