Coffee-Chili Rubbed Steaks


Yield: 4 servings
Time: 30 minutes



RawSpiceBar’s Dark Coffee & Chiles
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
4 8 oz flat iron steaks
Canola oil



  1. Pat steaks dry. Brush steaks liberally with canola oil and sprinkle liberally with salt. Spread the RawSpiceBar’s Dark Coffee & Chiles on a baking sheet and roll the steaks in the mixture to coat, using about 1/2 tbsp per steak. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour (no longer or steak will begin to cure).
  2. Preheat grill to medium high heat. Drizzle a little canola oil on both sides of each steak and grill, 5-6 minutes per side for medium rare.
  3. Transfer Coffee-Chili Rubbed Steaks to a cutting board and let rest 15 minutes before slicing.  Serve and enjoy!
